    Stunning video! Many thanks to the author of the channel! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

    How long did take you to become fully able to speak? 11 Months? or one year?

    • @samkath
      @samkath Год назад

      I came to norway with a basic knowledge of norwegian but still far away from speaking fully and understanding everything. I started attending couple of online courses around November 2020 and felt somehow safe to work in March 2021. Since I was required to speak in norwegian at work, it happened to be the best practice opportunity for me. From there my speaking and listening skills gradually improved to the point where I suddenly realised that I was able to converse with people in norwegian without thinking much about it. So in that perspective I would say it took me around 1 1/2 years. However I would not describe myself as fully fluent because there is still so much more to learn.

Please can you let us know platforms u have used, especially the one with homework/teach group learning. Also what was most practical tool or platform in the learning process? What gave the most result? Was it speak norsk or homework and teacher group learning. Takk!

    • @samkath
      @samkath Год назад

      Thank you so much!😁 I attended online courses from alfaskolen.no I loved having a teacher who could answer all of my questions and corrects my homework. And since the course had fixed dates, I was required to attend those classes which also meant for me less procrastination. With speaknorsk on the other hand you have full control over your study pace. You can finish a whole course within a day if you like to or take as much time as provided. For my B1 course I had 3 months to finish it. For my B2 course I chose the lifetime version, so it doesn't expire. But because of that I have no time pressure at all. So sadly I still have not finishes that one 🥲 Once you are sure that you want to continue studying norwegian and you still feel stuck at A1, then I'd recommend attending online courses or in-person classes if those are available where you live. Courses may cost more than books or apps but in my opinion I learned the most during those classes.

      Tut mir echt leid für die späte Antwort! Ich hoffe aber, dass ich dir trotzdem noch weiterhelfen kann mit meiner Antwort. Also bezüglich Büchern kann ich dir "Et år i Norge" empfehlen. Ich finde das Buch super und kommt mit einer CD für die Hörbeispiele. Die Erklärungen sind einfach zu verstehen und du hast nach jedem Kapitel Aufgaben, wo du die richtigen Antworten hinten im Buch finden kannst. Die einzigen Onlinekurse, die ich ausprobiert habe, sind von alfaskolen.no und speaknorsk.no Beide Seiten bieten online und in-person Kurse an, wobei die Onlinekurse von speaknorsk nur Lernmaterial zur Verfügung stellen mit Videos und Seiten zum Ausdrucken, aber du hast keinen direkten Lehrer mit dem du sprechen kannst. Man hat aber die Möglichkeit Kommentare oder Mails zu schreiben, um deine Fragen zu beantworten. Das ist alles was ich noch weiß, kann aber sein, dass sich Dinge seitdem geändert haben. Noch viel Glück und Spaß beim Lernen!😁
